"Jacket" is a rare painting of mine that was inspired by an object, rather than a photo. I had this one green fleece jacket that hung in a frozen position on my closet, and I figured that it was destiny to paint something that remained so still. As many of my early 2017 works are, the style of "Jacket" is more of a sketch or a depiction of an object or scene, rather than a realistic style. It is grounded more in the colors and focal point than it is accuracy.
